The only thing I'm concerned about is the fogging to come back in this model, I actually refunded the 14 ultra and hopefully waiting for this one.

It's a couple of generations old though (as it was already used in the x90 series) and no upgrade on the x100 and x100s. They also even used this V2 chip in the x200 pro mini as well

For me personally I much prefer a flat display but the Oneplus 13 basically does beat it on nearly every hardware specification. The video quality is better on the Oppo Find x8 but that's probably about it. For people who don't care about a flat versus curved display the Oneplus 13 would definitely make more sense at the same price. The next Oneplus flagship will most likely switch to a pure flat display

If you keep in mind that the global pricing of the Find X8 is essentially the same as the Oneplus 13, I ask you, why would anyone get the Find X8? Basically camera performance and optimization is very similar apart from the extra 6x sensor and camera software is the same with all the same features of the pro like Dolby vision video. I think it's OPPO'S best selling flagship model ever in China. It's also lighter than the pro. Video quality is really excellent on the find x8 and sales far outnumber the pro. It's the opposite though for Vivo. Vivo though withholds quite a lot of camera software features on their standard model e.g. no HDR video of any kind. This year as well the sales in China seem to reflect that. Sales of the Vivo x200 pro have been better than expected and the x200 has been reduced in price already due to poor sales compared to the Vivo x100

                    -Flop sales of chinese flagship - Quantity does not mean quality and Samaung is a world-class example of this. 😁
                    -Greenline scandal (like on OnePlus) - Yes, with Samsung crap displays. 🤣🤣🤣
                    -cheap copy of Samsung/iphone - You're wrong again, Samsung sells the latest and improved items to everyone else and uses older cheap models for its phones.
                    -five people of total user - At least they're not brainwashed...
                    -short software support( shorter than entry level Samsung phone) - The infamous 7 years of Samsung's OS, which even S24U users are wondering if they have it or not, since they have been waiting for an update to A15 and OneUI7 for 3 months now. Maybe they mean 7 years of waiting, not support. So much for Samsung software. 🤣🤣
                    -mediocre features - On the other hand, Samsung gives 1 million unnecessary bloatware that no one uses, but on the other hand, they cut off the Bluetooth function of the pen that everyone wants. 🤣🤣
                    -inneficient usage of RAM/ battery - TSamsung are so efficient with the battery that the S25U only gets it to 10 hours of mixed user use, and the 1+ 13 to 15 hours and 30 minutes. 🤣🤣🤣 And S25U trottle even on 41 percent on CPU use. 🤣🤣
                    -afraid to compete directly with Samsung in many western countries. - Again, quantity does not mean quality.

                              I'm using samsung too - no google files or whatsoever. So I use Samsung's own file manager, obviously. I have also disabled chrome and have Kiwi browser installed (with some add-ons)..
                              I don't see issue with file downloads/uploads, but maybe I'm not doing what you do? Can you describe it better/step-by-step?

I've sent no ... morewholeheartedly agree - on any phone I have ever used/seen/touched - I HAD to disable google apps (CHROME, messages, home/google/assistant/photos/newspapers/books/etc).. Also restrict maps background usage, that junk never quits..sad story, but that's the reality, pure google android experience is nogo for me.

                                  Same here. I got accustomed to opera's layout to such an extent that other chromium based browsers feels tricky to navigate.

                                    The first thing I do on a new phone is disable the Google app. Especially Google Discover, because I can't remove it in any other way so that it doesn't appear on my phone as a full screen when I swipe right on the main view. So I don't use their photo app, nor Lens, nor Wallet, nothing... Even Chrome seems awfully ugly to me to use, so I use Opera. I've never had any problems uploading photos with Opera to Facebook or any other site from the 1+ photo app. Currently, 1+ 13 even has a temporary storage where you can upload files and photos that are yours right away and transfer them in the fastest way to whichever app you want.

I this case i think it's better to just get a s25u. Few months ago, the s24u was as low as 800€.. Samsung intentionally raised the price i believe.
