Even if Google's Files app is disabled?! Something im facing a bit of an issue with Samsung. Driving me insane and very annoying as a road block!!

It's just a slightly upgraded Jn1... moreThe JN5 is a huge difference imo, the JN1 was serviceable at best but the JN5 is genuinely good especially if given to a competent manufacturer like Oppo/Vivo. The JN3 is nice but im wondering if the JN5 is even better despite the smaller size. Idk about you but I'm GENUINELY impressed by the JN5.

Sure, they're MORE Apple-like than before but Samsung and especially Google's phones feel like they're straight up FROM Apple. Oppo and Vivo have flat sides but still a curved back AND a micro curved display. It's just the industry trend now to spice things up.

                  I don't really mind them copying stuff from Apple as they bring innovations or actually decent value for money. Whereas Samsung and Google only copy the bad, for example the greediness/reluctancy to change but also while having higher prices, from Apple.

                      -short software support( shorter than entry level Samsung phone)
                      -mediocre features
                      -inneficient usage of RAM/ battery

Apparently Samsung is using a Jn3 but I can't find any Information about it. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a rebranded jn5 though. Some sources say the sensor size (1/2.55") and pixel size (0.7 microns) though is actually bigger on the Jn3. If the sources are correct it would be slightly superior to the jn5 in terms of sensor size and pixel size. Would be interesting to see the official specs of the sensor if Samsung ever publishes them

Nearly all the Chinese brands switched from curved sides to flat sides on many of their models after Apple did it as it became trendy. Also now some (Vivo and OPPO for example) are using a kind of software enhanced dynamic island. All brands though take inspiration from other brands for anything they think is popular and trendy. If one of the Chinese brands introduces some popular software feature as well usually the others will follow suit too. Basically they all tend to borrow ideas from each other and change the implementation slightly. I think that's fine though as it's kind of how technology works
