Wow, so revolutionary. Should've had that in the beginning though.
After switching from my Galaxy A51 to Nothing Phone 2, I've just realised how terrible Google is as a photo editing app. It doesn't even let you make GIFs, annotate well on photos, add texts on photos well. Plus, it doesn't even let you make a transition in multiple video editing. Plain.
The reasons I wouldn't be switching back is that this could've been worked around with third-parties, which is still bothersome, but I have to compromise when upgrading.
