          Apple's tried and tested halmarks where are and always was:
          Fresh design,
          Reliability of the system and apps used!
          Publishing oe graphical design,
          Music composition and production,
          Literature - due to real fonts usedfrom the printing age ans are globally still used.

Patents allow specific innovations, doesnt mean a company has to be the first to use it! Also patent license terms vary all the time: allowing for use without sharing the innovators brand or name at all.

                                      Apple, is a Software company that hastheir hardware made specifically to boost their hardwares performance beyond whatthe hardware used typically gives.

                                      2007 the 1st model launched. Within 4yrs rose to the top5 global phone sales list withthe iPhone 4, and for many years now has ruled global sales list. Hmmm!

                                      Until this year, their SoC killed the market interms of performance - A series was the first to go 64-bit many years ago, this also coincided with iOS demanding developers submit binary apps suppirting 32/64-bit apps.
                                      [Recall where apple did this before? OOOOh yeah with the PowerMac G5 launch that support 128-bit processing - a computer first for 7 months, while then pushing dedktop app developers to create 64-bit apps)

                                      Core kernal and UX stack of their OS is universally THE same across Desktop PC, Tablets, TV+, phones and that attrocious VR headset! Nobody in ANY industry has this!

                                      Why do you think so manyof the Chinese competition copies the Apple User Interface onto their Android UI?!

                                      The overall product is NOT = to the sum of its parts. Consumers place theie money on what they need or see the value in the overal product theyll be using. The iphone remains THE easiest phone anyone can use - youve sewn real life videos of 2yr olds using an iPad already. With every new hardware change or implementation or change, the software has always made it super dumb simple for a user to use!

                                      Even removing 3D Touch by using different panels, Apple used software to give the same result. Even if it took Apple a year to get the action refined, software got it done!!

                                      Yes you get a LOT MORE value using any Android phone in terms of hardware components or what the plethora of software is available or can allow you to do on your phone!

                                      But the ease of use, presentation of the software or information on screen AND the synergies of their platform and services and how they all align as a synergistic symiotic relationship is KEY to their success!

                                      Try moving from one AndroidOS UI to another from different manufacturers ... im sure youve seen the wars here about that too lol.
