The 500rmb discount is only available for people in China with a Chinese ID card as it's a government scheme and it's also limited to one smartphone per person for the whole of 2025. Also it doesn't apply to smartphones over 6000rmb. It is available slightly cheaper from third party sellers in China on taobao and pinduoduo but I don't have any knowledge of international sellers

That's why a less wide screen is important and phones have a one handed mode you can just flick into. I find it awkward to use the one handed mode when going from left to right but it's nicer to reach the top that way.

                        I'm not saying you're wrong for asking for smaller phones im just saying that the main issue with phones is width.

It's not like this phone has the greatest zoom cam on phones so it should've either lowered its price or had better hardware.

                              But if it's better than the competition ig it won't need anything lol so ig that's why Vivo chose to focus on profits more.

Also, the nomenclature makes sense from a business perspective, but "compact" is well-suited for that device for its comparatively smaller footprint.
