    It can:
    Turn off Auto Lens Switching And this is great for macro photography or working with depth of field.

        Jack Wolffstein, 08 Feb 2025The biggest shame is that the S24 ultra still doesn't ... moreMy theory on the update delay of the entire S24 series, and earlier models for that matter, has to do with the S24 Ultra, and the S Pen. Specifically the removal of Bluetooth from the S Pen of the S25 Ultra, which already has Android 15 of course, and all the AI features that Samsung thinks are so important, but they want to slowly let go of the S Pen entirely and only focus on AI. So, this year they are trying to get people to upgrade from their S24 series devices to the newest ones with their pre-order deals, and then do the same next year with the S25 series which will get delayed Android 16 update just so they can get people to upgrade to the S26 series, specifically to the Ultra which won't have an S Pen. There may not be an S26+ I suspect.

        This might be thinking too much, or too little, but it's really just a theory.

          The biggest shame is that the S24 ultra still doesn't have Android 15 and UI7, I only got the January security patch two days ago... and it was practically the best phone yesterday... misery. They are deliberately delaying the upgrade because that is practically the only difference between generations. Every mid-range (redmi, honor, realme, ...) got the upgrade to A15 at the end of December or the beginning of the year, except for Samsung's "flagship". My last Samsung for sure.

            Omg camera result of s25 series are very bad... terrible quality. S24 is much better.

              S24 Ultra has a huge flaw for taking macro photos: the lens switches as you zoom in and hence the object is not in the screen anymore. S25 Ultra does not have this issue (neither did S23 Ultra). And the foxis / details are much better in S25 Ultra. So if you take a lot of closeup jewellery pics as my wife does then S25 Ultra is a must. She says you cant compare the phones in this regard. I myself will stay with S24 Ultra this time.

                Look at it on the good side. It may come just a phone in a box, but with the right bottle of glue, you can assemble it like an IKEA piece of furniture.

                      lol the S24 is better,what a shame.I stick with my S23 Ultra with Gcam Mod.The Pictures i got from the Gcam are fare more better than S24U or S25U.What a shame for Samsung,they sell Trash Cameras who are even worse than some good Midranger.The 23U is my last Samsung.

                          Just my opinion, 08 Feb 2025Galaxy S22 ultra vs Galaxy S22 Ultra IVGalaxy S24 Ultra vs Galaxy S24 Ultra with camera protection rings, but don't try to take those off, they are really important to the functionality of the cameras.

                            I won't even bother looking at this review. He could just write the following sentence: "The difference between the two phones is the superglue that holds the rings around the cameras on the S25U like a toy phone from a bag of chips."

                              hell yeah, Samsung is already become Apple for now because of:

                              >No major changes about design, only minor changes
                              >Add useless feature
                              >Same battery with same fast charging (from S22 Ultra onwards)
                              >Price hike every year
                              >Sammy fans thinks S22 Ultra to S25 Ultra are winner of camera, meanwhile Chinese flagships are already using triple Sony IMX with better telephotos. a bit different than Apple fans when it comes for flexing phones.

                                What a sad thing that can be said about a $1300+ phone, that is supposed to be the best of the best.

                                  The new camera improvements aren't even all that tangible. You can feel some things changing but you couldn't have guessed that it was a whole different phone with a different ISP, if you showed samples from an S24U and an S25U to someone they'd think they're from the same phone, just photo to photo variation.

                                      Just my opinion, 08 Feb 2025Lol, Isn't it obvious? Samsung is holding back One UI ... moreas always, promises will always remain promises. Samsung delivered fast updates post s23 launch till the s24 launch and now they're slowing down. I said this before as I know how greedy and shady companies can be but fanboys defended that.

                                      for the fanboys Samsung taking their time with the software means they're perfecting it, but if other brands do it they're all scams and should not be trusted/bought. Literally worse than the Apple hivemind.
