SPen scratches the screen, I put screen protector on it then it scratches the screen protector. Galaxy Note 3's SPen doesn't scratch anything. I think they used to make phones and fridges stronger in the past. I installed Android 14 on it....

Companies care onmly about money and how they get them.
If they have a chance to recycle S22 with new name S25 take as much as possble and sell it for bigger price than S22 then you got the point.

This article feels kinda biased towards Samsung. It invalidates the feelings of all those who don't like the removal of this feature based on the "fact" that they are the minority and thus don't really matter and that we should let Samsung off the hook.
First, we don't have any actual data on feature use except the claim Samsung made that only 1% of users use it and no other details (globally? in specific countries? within a period of one month? one year?).
And second, even if that is, in fact, the deal, I would argue that if you take individual small features like this, all use percentages would seem stupidly low (you could say e.g. only 2% of all pictures taken by users are taken via the pro mode, only 3% actively use Goodlock, only 1% use pop-up window apps, etc.). But this is no excuse to start removing features, especially on a 1.500 Euro phone! By that logic, we should all just use dumbphones which can only do 3 things that 100% of us will use. I think we can all just admit that Samsung, even though I personally like the company, has seriously moved further away from innovation and providing its customers with the BEST smartphone it can. That was always the promise of the S series and especially the Note/Ultra models; that you don't need to compromise. And I feel like they're breaking that promise more and more. 25W charging on the vanilla S25? For crying out loud...

Cpt.Power, 05 Feb 2025Samsung is crazy and going downwards soon they close just l... moreYou should not care about ALL companies - care about a product that interests you in the moment when you need it, after that, forget they exist until you need a new one.
Companies do not care about you or anyone else, they care about their bottom lines - complaining about something will never change it, not giving them money will (and really quickly), this applies to every company regardless of what product/service we're talking.

My guess is that Samsung is conducting an experiment to gauge consumer reaction. By introducing a reduced-function S-Pen, they are testing the market's response and potential backlash. If the feedback is overly negative negative, Samsung has left the means to correct it in place, and thus could release an aftermarket Bluetooth-enabled S-Pen.
Thing is, even though there has been much complaining in tech circles, initial sales of the S25U have been strong. So again, my guess is we will see the removal of all internal hardware required to support a BlueTooth S-Pen in next year's Ultra.

S Pen without Bluetooth we already know costs $49, so one with Bluetooth would be like $150-$200.

This whole "nobody uses the Bluetooth features" assertion from Samsung might be cause they haven't made a big deal about them since they launched them.
