A charger for a part that doesn't have a battery - now that's truly something.

It is easy the remotely take pictures with palm gesture, saying cheese or using a wearable. So,there is no point to take out the spen for that.

Somebody said; "Future S-Pens will have microphone and a speaker, so would be able to answer calls and speak with the S-Pen as handsfree device. I heard it when Galaxy Note 9 was announced...

Samsung is becoming more of a disappointment. As the face of Android, they've been goofing off since S23 series. The h3ck is this camera lens glass being detached just by a cutter and are glued lol. Not to mention their poor OLED panels that are prone to greenline issues, and failing semiconductor manufacturing. Look what they did to the Snapdragon 888 and 8Gen1 lol

This is wrong, it's not a charging coil, it's an nfc antenna to detect if the non-bluetooth s-pen is inserted or removed. Check the teardown on a channel called Phone Repair Guru on youtube.

Fun fact: my Note 20 Ultra's Bluetooth-enabled S-Pen fits in the S25 Ultra S-Pen holder (i tested it in a demo unit), but it only recognizes like a "normal" S-Pen. So, the hardware is there, but not the support by software... for business/stonks reasons? 🤔

Nice to know i don't have to waste my time with the video and i could read the article instead. Thanks GSMA team 😃

Honestly why I finally buy and use the flagship Samsung phone (i.e S24U, I do not like foldable phone) is because of S.Pen with bluetooth. I may not always use it but it is nice to have one.

People have already tried using old Bluetooth S pens from the S24 Ultra and before on the new S25 Ultra but they don't work. So it seems like Samsung is deliberately shutting down the S pen or they are going to revamp it entirely.

I have my S25 Ultra in jetblack now and it's an amazing device. I couldn't care less about the spen.

While owning my S23U for like a year I used the spen maybe twice the whole time.

Well chwrging coil is there for an S-Pen

You really think Samsung will NOT sell us a Bluetooth enabled S-Pen with battery for the S25U in less than 3mths from now?!

Thats my bet. Yet it doednt affect me ill be using a compketwly different phone altogether.

But im just a due with a screw driver that can usually put things back together!

                            Lol
