I know this sounds crazy, but if they removed the 1 inch sensor, then that means it will look even more like a chalkboard painting in darker places, because the sensor is so small.

If I was Vivo, I would go beyond!!!!!!
Yes, Micro four thirds 44 megapixels sensor exists!!!!!

44 megapixels with that sensor size in a phone, would make Vivo X200 Ultra the king of night photography or in darker places!!!!

Even an ISOCELL 108 megapixels Micro four thirds does exist.

If these companies want real good cameras, then why downgrade???
Why not push to the limits!!!!!!

Camera bump or the phone must be thicker of course.

Vivo X100 Ultra is amazing for landscape photography.
In bright places.
It uses normal Image processing in bright places.
0 AI Image processing!!!!!

Vivo X100 Ultra does use AI Image processing, but only in darker places and big zooms.

But In pro mode, Vivo X100 Ultra uses 0 AI Image processing and 0 post processing, even in darker places.
Vivo X100 Ultra uses normal Image processing, like real cameras!!!!

If Vivo X200 Ultra used a micro four thirds sensor, it would also have less noise in darker places in pro mode, of course.
0 AI Image processing and 0 post processing, just pure skill and hardware!!!!!

      Is this a joke ?? So it has the same size main camera the same zoom camera. The only upgrade is a slightly bigger ultra wide camera (the lenses that hardly anyone uses) and possibly the qualcom elite chipset. No 1" sensor like the x100. Ultra no increase in optical zoom range. Seems like vivo have taken a leaf out of samsungs book - give less and charge the same. Deffo sounds like one to avoid.

        I'm actually not sure if the ultrawide will stay at 0.5-0.6x. Personally, I don't use it very much, so I'd be content.

          I hope this is true, uw start at 24mm, if not, 18mm or 20 mm is also fine, 13 mm is way too wide, most of people seldom use this focus length, and also aperture is very important, if they use 13mm for 1/1.28 inch sensor, to keep the optical module small enough, wide aperture is impossible, I would rather have a moderate focus length like 20 or 24 mm with wide aperture like 1.6 or 1.8 rather than a 13mm lense with 2.4 or smaller aperture

              12mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 135mm, 200mm, 400mm... sits more with me.
              I hope phones exchange their 200x factors with real numbers. What is 1x in normal or superwide, so vague...

                It's not a software change; it's a hardware change. And I'm all for it. I don't think they would've been able to fit a LYT-900 at 35mm effective focal length.
