Well, Asus smartphone business is slowly dying already. Nubia Z70Ultra is a better buy than this for almost half the price or better get yourself an iPhone 15 or 16 and Samsung S25 for that price.
Asus thinks they're Samsung level charging premium with their not so competitive enough products.

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2025Zero burn in >>> burn-in, green lineYou've clearly never heard of image retention. LCDs tend to retain phantoms of bright pixels when the operating temperatures are a little high. This is true for all LCDs so neither technology is perfect. Saving grace for LCDs is that they recover from this state as cooling down but the image retention and worsen overtime and appear more frequently. Neither display technologies are perfect but at least OLEDs have come far enough that the burn in issue is far slower than ever.
note - this is a fact that burn in can never be completely eliminated, the organic part in an O-LED will inevitably degrade and burn-in will show. It can be mitigated and delayed but that's it. I'd love to be proven wrong in the future but physics don't lie.

Yoo bad it doesn't launch in Southeast Asia. Would've bought this. So saturated with Chinese models, Samsung and Apple.

They also chose to use only the 700 series sensor when they could have used 800 or 900.

Asus missed out on the opportunity to use the leaked iPhone 17 concept design. (3 top camera lenses)
If they did that before Apple did, then they would get a lot of attention from media & YouTubers would have to admit that “Apple copied Asus”

With such a hefty price tag, only 2 OS updates and the only notable improvement being the camera, the Google Pixel is a no-brainer compared to this.

The photos are full of noise in all cameras and over processed.
Does this cost more than $1000?
They look like they were taken from a phone from 2015.
