            What's with the pricing of this phone. I just don't get who this phone is for. For £/€/$ 50 more you can get the flagships from Samsung and Apple. Get even more value with VivoX200 Pro and Pixel 9 ProXl with much features and better cameras

                Well, looks like it's the same story as last time. A 3.5mm port do not make an otherwise bad phone good, especially when this price point is around what the S25+ and OnePlus 13 cost. Both of which have better software support and QHD+ displays. Oh and the latter has standard IMS so you can still get VoLTE with custom ROMs, where with this you can't even unlock the bootloader.

                Concerningly Sony did the exact same thing last year, there's no way a headphone port and SD card slot make a phone with barely 3-4 years of updates and a 1080p screen worth the same as the Galaxy Ultra.

                  Still 2 years major update? Asus never learn. in its home market taiwan, asus is almost dead with only 1.89% market share.

                    With those bs AI inclusions, maybe Asus used it first to draft that camera island thingy as well. I'm not a designer but I don't even want to believe that shape and camera arrangement is actually someone's idea.

                            This phone is a scam, it should be priced around 900€.
                            Since they're not making small phones anymore, why not call it Asus Zenfone 12?
                            What's "Ultra" about it?

                                  That's why I'm a bit confused when so many people here said that Zenfone is expensive, while ngl it's not that expensive in my country & far cheaper than base Samsung S-series.

                                        Damn, the sample photos looks like a time travel back to the past haha, crushed and overly grainy shadows (main), telephoto is quite noisy too and the ultra wide has a lot of watercolor texture, I really loved Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 2 5.5 laser, but after that they really plummeted.
