If I’d paid for an S24 ultra at double the price I’d be annoyed. If Samsung wants to match Apple pricing then software support needs to be as good too.

First of all: it's objectively a flagship phone. If there's nothing more powerful that you can buy, it's a flagship product. Corporate crap has nothing to do with it, not when when there is no the chipset more powerful that what runs under the hood.
Secondly: I did not accept blindly I WILL get 7 years of updates. Jury is still out on this, we'll see what happens over time.

Which is why I blame humans who wrongly planned their development cycle. 7 years of updates was a promise made with S24 onwards, so if more than a year later Samsung is still not capable to develop OneUI fast enough, who is to blame? Me for taking them on their word, or them for being in disposition of vast amounts of money, and still incapable of accurately plan development roadmap to adhere to their own promise?
Victim-shaming is a real nasty habit, you should realize that after more than a decade of calling it out.

Anyway which Chinese flagship from 2021 get Android 15?
You dont have to answer it, because many of the user has already pre ordered S25 series.

I am just happy that some of my friends that use old OnePlus, old Xiaomi has just pre-ordered new S25 Ultra.

This is disappointing. Every day I'm losing more and more respect for Samsung, first it was the Exynos/Snapdragon divide, then blatantly copying Apple with their watches and headphones and now delaying updates. They want to be the Apple of the Android world - reputable, reliable, long software support, with the price to back it up - but they aren't willing to put in the work. Shame.

People who buy the highest shelf models should deserve a better treatment than what Samsung is doing currently. I haven't paid top price for S24U to receive Android 15 few days before And16 beta will be out, and months after S25 got it. It's an ethically questionable, artificial limitation put in place only to force S25 sales and as such stinks.
How much worth is 7 years of Android support if they can't keep up with releasing OneUI fast enough to keep up with new Android releases?
And finally, I don't believe one bit that a company this size is unable to set two teams of Devs to work concurrently on OneUI7 for S25 and for the rest of devices. We're in a god damn 21st century with proper development tools to be able to run two Dev teams concurrently on the same core, but with two separate (but similar) development goals.
Don't just blindly accept corporate crap, think.

One thing for sure OneUI 6 has more features than chinese brand with Android 15. I am not surprise if the new features of Android 16 would be "old" features of OneUI 7 and easy to predict only by seeing the features on Samsung phone.
