It is clearly visible in the tests how Samsung starts to "stutter" when it reaches about 40 degrees... For daily tasks and 8 gen 3 is enough, but that's not the point... The question is why one of the most expensive phones on the market does not offer what is expected of it - ultra performance everywhere. To give 1300+ euros for a phone for which then the fans of the brand explain to me how there was no problem in daily tasks, even though it suffers from strong throttling under load. Thanks, but no thanks.

In daily tasks and games, the overclock does do what it is supposed to do, as long as thermals are under control. It's sad to see how many people here do not understand benchmarks. Also purposefully removing thermal limits for higher benchmark scores is VERY different from what Samsung is doing and rightfully hated.

Not only that, you're also telling people to mess around in weird settings just to have a normal experience that most other flagships will give you and the s23 ultra gave you before.

A few years ago, people mocked Xiaomi for this, and rightfully so. Manipulating thermal settings for benchmarks is not a good thing and is deceptive. Now that Samsung's doing it no one's really talking about it. Funny how that works.

The auto dim of the game bar puts a lock screen in the middle of the screen and dims the phone to sub 50-100 nits. I know it cus i've sometimes slept while using my phone and saw the screen being so dim that i thought it was off but nope it was just in a funny "kinda locked" type of scenario. Really cool feature but it's not at all what you're talking about.
I'm never trusting your words again, you fail to do proper research and throw out garbage excuses.

Samsung game bar/mode or whatever you call it has a function to auto dim or lock the brightness even. Those reviews are pointless if they don't play with those 2 parameters, also see if games can be excluded from that game mode completely (by disabling the service for example). Paid stuff everywhere on YouTube, trying to prove smith is worse than another..
