I can see many chinese flagship fans are insecure of the existance of this midrange phone.

But its quite understandable, since their favourable chinese flagship have fewer software features than this phone, and also fewer OS upgrades than this midrange Samsung.

    the moment the 2023 a series dropped it basically dropped the "awesome screen, awesome camera, long lasting battery life" like even though the slogan claims are very overly exaggerated, the ads were genuinely fun and quirky

    it's cringe but it feels very a series

    this feels like they're trying to force the a series to be "premium" and not fun, it feels like the fun colors during 2017~2022 a series made it very recognizable

    but i guess samsung is slowly going back to 2014~2016 a series where it looks like the s series counterparts but at a cheaper price...

              Anonymous, 12 Feb 2025I didn't see a single ad on x7 Pro even before debloat... moreI suggest you should Never UPDATE your Samsung phone once they reached it latest Android version update. Like my Note 10 + become a literal iron after updated to A12 which is the last for it. The a11 before it is the best. This also happened with bunch of Samsung's phones too. So keep this in mind.

And look slimmer. It just ruined by that camera island. They should've just use A52 design. It's not too old design. Have same color as the body. They have more rectangular body and screen, made it still pleasant to look even with somewhat thick bezels it still looks bold. Then everything started going bad with enormous rounded corners on A54 and using exynos until now.
                          I noticed yellow and unsaturated tint on the camera of A54 and A55, the photos and videos captured looks less detailed also. I recall A52 have really good camera and excellent color tint in the results. This is probably affected by the chipset changes. Snapdragon give better photo and video quality.

                                Where is the dark blue color from a55? You don't improve it but removed it? Really?? All I see is multiple variant of grey. Bring back my Blue! And stop this pastel color trend already.

                                  Great no blue color for me. And that camera island is ancient design. Good job Samsung, you make me hate this phone.

                                        Interesting that Samsung refreshes the looks of this midranger and keeps the design of their flagship line stagnant for the 3rd consecutive year. I much prefer this new A55's design to the S25's.
