Will it have a telephoto lens? If not, then it's a Hard PASS. And this is from an a54 user. At least the consumer deserves a meaningful upgrade this time.

    Those of you who keep comparing Samsung to other brands like Poco, Xiaomi, etc.

    Please compare the software updates too and take note, most countries doesn't even have brands like Poco, Xiaomi, etc and if they do, it's only the budget / entry level devices.

              Pretty devices. Great to see the design language evolving from the A55. The change to premium materials has been paying off.

                  WW3, 9 hours agoIt is great if they added telephoto camera or 50mp af uw fo... moreI think all the OEMs will continue gatekeeping telephoto lenses only for their premium/flagship models. Considering the improvements in high megapixel sensors combined with ML, digital zooming actually is not as bad as one would previously thought, especially at 2-3x.

                    The screen-to-body ratio is still bad
                    I like the frame around the lenses, but overall a facelift has happened in the design
                    But unfortunately the camera hardware has not changed and even on paper the selfie camera has become weaker and only has a better aperture
                    A significant hardware upgrade for the processor and camera can make it successful

                    But with Poco X7 Pro and Note 14 Pro+, it is difficult

                      If Galaxy A16 gets 6 OS upgrades, i'm also expecting similar software support from A56.

                              The camera island looks almost similar to Z Fold6.
                              This the most premium looking Android midrange on the market.

                              I personally prefer this unique design over generic ugly big circle camera island, typical design of chinese phone.

                                Looks worse than the A55.
