Tipster claims the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's battery capacity will be less than 6,000 mAh

Although it's unclear if that will be Si/C or Li-Ion type.

I imagine if Samsung finally added only 100mAh for their new Ultra's battery after 4 years,

Then Sammy fans will be overwhelming for this battery upgrade.

As we all know, charger doesn't charge @45 w throughout the entire charging process. Heck, it maybe goes up to 38w for a few minutes. Maybe they'll increase the average charging power of their chargers to get quicker times.
For instance, s25u is 7-10 min quicker to charge than s24u with the same charger and same battery capacity.

I believe 45w is capable of 45 min in 0-100% charge with some tweaks in charging power management.

What's the point of Sammy's Ultra if it don't have a Spen?

        It'll just be a glorified + after that :[

Time to make phone larger like 17.0 cm x 7.7 cm , replace the 3x and 5x for single 75 - 150mm, remove pen. This gonna allow larger battery.

Anyway, 5000mAh samsung lasts as much as 6000mAh chinese phones. While apple and sony need even less to match as well.

                Big Idea

Make the Spen an external battery!(or... internal..???)

I know it be low, but if they can just BARELY squeeze 500-1000mha it would be a nice addition, or an absolute idiotic idea, whichever side you choose

I'm not familiar with pandaflash or his reliability as a leaker. It seems he came out of nowhere recently. Maybe I just didn't notice him before.

IMO, Samsung does not need a 6,000-7,000 mah battery in the next Ultra. Based on the battery comparisons I've seen, a 5500 mah battery with their optimzation will be more than enough to compete with anything currently offered.

Samsung needs to update the battery on the Z Fold. I don't care about records for being the thinnest or having the "best" camera. I care about having an all day battery. Not an all battery based on a 9-5 work day.

I do hope the small battery capacity bump is due do them keeping the S-Pen slot.

This is how you fool emotionally samsung lowers. They going to say amazing upgrade. While others have 7000mAh.

5500 mah would be a nice change, 10% higher battery capacity alongside gen2 3nm SoC would lead to a nice bump in battery and the jumps in battery between the generations would be steady.

I just wonder when they'll give us fast charging. I wouldn't mind a 200 mah battery size cut for faster charging as the gen on gen battery life improvement due to display/SoC improvements would be enough to offset the size cut. Now I'm starting to think that Samsung might NEVER give us fast charging UNLESS another company starts creeping into the top 10 highest selling phones list and threatens Samsung.

Kind of like how LG's OLED TVs were improving extremely slowly each gen but when Samsung's QD OLED came in, LG's OLEDs improved more in 2 years than they did in the past 7 years combined. That's what the phone industry needs. A competitor to the status quo. Unfortunately the big "global" players have left and only Chinese ones are left standing and they don't really care about global availability/deals.

If by next year that this is true,

                                Samsung sucks.

Samsung: adds 200mAh capacity, with the same 25W and 45W charging.

Samsung fanboys: "We have Za powurrrrrrrrr 🗿🗿🗿"

                                    💀💀💀

Reliable tip: it will even be less than 10.000 mah.
