Why only 64gb most midrange android phones back in 2022 already had 128gb storage. I think 128gb should be the base storage.

Also, you're very naive if you don't think Apple tracks your usage, which btw you can mitigate with adb tweaking on any android phone. Good luck doing that on iPhones.
iOS doesn't warrant such a high price for mediocre hardware. It is nowhere near as good, and I've dealt with it for years since my wife uses Apple products.

Reading the title, I thought it was 32GB. 64GB is hiccup-acceptable for ifans.
Anyways, its a low end device from a premium brand, what do you expect? Price is a setback though for this device.

Non-expandable 64 GB ROM in 2025, with 8 GB of RAM, with the starting price of 500$? Please, that's downright horrible and insufficient, Apple. I could tolerate better if it's 128 GB base like the iPhone 16 base or some midranger with 64 GB ROM with MicroSDXC expansion card slot, but not this! This ain't 2017, Apple. Even Sony already put 128 GB ROM on Xperia 10 series since 2020. There's a reason why Xiaomi Mi 9 8/64 GB of 2019 is the only very few phone to have this config. It's just not balanced.
