If there was another way, they would certainly have done it by now. You could use a rectangular camera bump instead of a round one, but that would literally take even more space, and you still won't be happy. So unless you have a better solution to fit a 1" main sensor, a huge periscope telephoto, plus a secondary telephoto, ultrawide and other focusing sensors and whatnot, I suggest you stop complaining

CamoGeko-XDA, 17 Feb 2025Eww, same top heavy half moon camera island. Gross! 🤢I'd much rather have a big camera bump like that which contains one hell of a camera setup, rather than smaller and poorer camera hardware for the sake of having a smaller camera bump 😂

Thats to show how junk OnePlus is 🤣
The flop sales of OnePlus in 2024 and the end of OnePlus Open series in 2025 are the proof.

Too bad I can't touch it in store (Vivox200 aswell). I will not buy it, because I think I ll hate that huge camera module. And I don't see anyone owning those.

Thats why people get greenline problem and lens fogging problem on OnePlus, because they still apply tech from 1913 with its old floor drain design.

It's nothing bad, just compared to the other 3 it is noticeably soft and (in my opinion) a bit too wide, the edges are always too stretched out. An UW sensor swap makes sense for me at least but we all know that software processing plays a huge role on these cameraphones, let's see what Xiaomi and Leica cooked for us this year
