Give same ground to all 500+ phone brands around the world make them to be available for sale in all 206 countries in every shop, stall, mall etc.
Your so desirable iphone will not be even to 50 because any and every cometitor and competition for half the price sells 2x times better specced devices.

    Oh look, iPhone 15 was world’s most top-selling smartphone in 2024, not the bigger iPhone 15 Plus.

    And the next iPhone 16 plus is being replaced by an "air" variant because it sell less than base smaller model. Some people still want small phone, if not iPhone 15 plus would be the top selling phone of 2024 not smaller base model.

      There is nothing manageable on a small device why you cant understand that.
      Small phones have small specs, small abttery small display and screen, small keyboard etc.
      In other words they are useless.
      Using magnifying option is not an option.
      Like i said in my previous comment rather will risk not so often problems with hand strains than more than often eye sight problems due to small screens.
      Phones which are small and comes with small battery too are definitely useless.
      Back on day with era of first smartphones with bare to minimum fuunction a small phone could last a day with small battery. Now take something as S8000 jet or Samsung galaxy S very first generation with its 1500 mAh cell and try to run android 15 on it with all basic apps like facebook or Tik Tok for example.
      It wont run and the battery will deplete in less than hour.
      Like i said bigger is better always. Girls knows.
      With phones is the same small phones are completely impractical good for loose but bad for everything else because with tiny specs and tiny battery endurance will be bad noone wants to charge its phone twice or thrice a day.

        A 6.2" screen and a 6.9" screen display the same font size, the larger screen simply shows more of that same-sized text (S25 vs S25 ultra for example).
        So, someone who needs larger text on a 6.2" phone would likely also need it on a 6.9" phone.

        Also, hand size, portability needs, and usage preferences vary greatly. Suggesting that only "disabled people who did not grow properly" or children under 12 benefit from small phones is not only insulting but also ignores the many people who simply prefer smaller, more manageable devices. Huge phone are not universally better, it's a matter of individual preference.

        You have to accept that some people (not the majority) don't wants to carry around a big brick of a phone (when they already have to carry some other big thing ;)).

          There is some minority mostly disabled people who did not grow properly and in that case and only that case plus kids of age 12 and less i understand point of small phones.
          Anyone else needs and should use bigger phone because is better in every single aspect.
          Try to get setup of Xiaomi 15 Ultra into a 5 inch device not possible unless you dont want to carry a device with 4-6 hours nedurance rating brand new. .

              As smaller phones are literally easier to hold one hand when someone bumps into you, so you can use your free hand to steady yourself and avoid a fall.

              Also, just be aware of your surroundings to avoid getting robbed :)

              I prefer a big screen only at home to enjoy contents (like a tablet / tv), but I don't need it on the go.

              Small screens can be better for limiting outdoor screen time, which is healthier.

              Some people even have small hands and can't reach the top of a large screen, even with two hands.

              And if the letters are too small you can make the font bigger in accessibility settings.

              Everyone has different needs, and small phones are definitely not useless for many people not wanting to carry huge bricks.

                I'm looking forward to this ... or the S25U or the ROG 9 Phone Pro. Haven't decided yet.

                    - One-handed use: No more finger gymnastics to reach the top of the screen. No awkward juggling or risking dropping the phone. Exactly what can happens using it in one hand. Using it in two hands means less chance you accidentaly drop your phone because you holding it better use it better and if someone accidentaly bumps into you you will not loose your phone because you hold it in both hands.
                    - Pocketability: A smaller phone slips easily into pockets without feeling like you're carrying a brick. Yea a smaller phone is easily lost in pockets and is useless to use due to small cringe specs. If someone hugs you by accident and robs you and you carry a small phone you dont even feel like you lost something a bigger phone you will feel you missing something.
                    - Reduced hand strain: Using a large phone for extended periods can lead to hand and wrist strain. This is such lie. Any user no matter the phone size can have same issues.
                    Using a phone onehanded was good when people had feature button like phones. We arent anymore in era of early 2000s.
                    Nowdays typing onehanded even on something small like Iphone 4s is practicaly impossibe. Because tiny screen, tiny lettters and bad to use onehanded. By the way said tiny phones rather will have a handstrains than eyesight problems by trying reading tiny letters from tiny screen and typing on tiny keyboard where most users easily press several letters at same time and write nonsense. Using voice keyboard is not viable because it always write something else than you say.

                    Tablet or smart TV you cant fit into pockets. Smart TV does not works on batery like phones. Many average sized people mostly from America or Europe uses bigger clothes with bigger pockets to fill everything. And no smart guy put its phone into back pockets where you dont see and can be easily broken by sitting.
                    Bigger is always better. Maybe the 10 inch is too big but 7-8 is okay with most.

                            Apart from that the smaller one is Zanco T1 Tiny. Which is the smallest phone ever made and working. Is smaller than your thunmb. Have only tiny numbers to call.

                                    Easy to loose, easy to break, tiny specs and battery also endurance. Tiny screen bad for typing, bad for reading from tiny screen bad in many else.
                                    Waste of resources making it because company will loose more on making this than actually by selling it. Just like SE edition of Apple or base model which is also garbage in specs a 200-300 eur worth phone sold for 1000 or 1300 in case of plus model no thanks.

                                      I hope Oppo will launch this Find X8 mini at global market.
                                      this is a really interesting phone & i've saved my money for this phone since the news that Oppo will launch Find X8 mini.

                                      at first.. I was waiting for vivo x200 pro mini, but they're still not launch globally..

                                        Zuzuz, 18 Feb 2025You have Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 15 with same specs or better The video quality on the Xiaomi 15 is really bad though imo. Very oversharpened, oversaturated and over contrasty. You basically have to shoot in master cinema to get normal video quality but then you get kind of weird colours. If only they didn't ruin the video quality the Xiaomi 15 would be a great phone. In particular it makes people look terrible. I don't know why they take this excessive sharpening approach for video in the Xiaomi 15 when the sharpening on photos is very balanced. The video quality is much better on the Oppo Find x8 and the mini is using the same main sensor and processor so hopefully that will be as good as the video quality on the regular find x8
