125mm = 5.2x. Well, it's still good, better than some, though not as good as 3.7x 48mp or 200mp tele.
Variable aperture is also great for low light, should be similarly capable with main camera to bar phones then.

XT seems a bit off for most regular users due to its form factor.
Also, having a portion of the screen outside proves not viable as any hits on it will render that screen useless as we seen in so many
The probable improvement is likely on the camera having a 5x zoom on periscope is likely not new but to keep the sharp details, that remains to be seen on actual device.
Most previews as shown here can also be sharpened before sharing and not really depict the real images seen on hand.
However, I'd say Huawei's continual improvement under deep scrutiny and unfair treatment (even amongst reviews) is a role-model to follow.
Hope my sharing here is posted unless as above said.

This will be the weirdest positioning of the Huawei phone on offering as the chip set is the from the older or Pura 70 Ultra while the camera is relative same as the (Vanila) Pura 70 and none of the Mate 70 / X6 form of chipset and camera is brought to this most expensive fordable.

Now in last years i use different brand Chinese phones. They are cheaper, reliable and do the job. No need to overpay anything else.

I don't like the screen on Chinese phones either. Even if it's a better screen than Samsung phones. This crease on the screen gives me a taste of unfinished. Besides, such a display is quite fragile. A colleague has a Fold 5 and in 1 year of use, it was in service for 3 months.

It appears that although the focal length of the lens is 24mm and that's what Huawei puts on the watermark, the output images are still cropped to 27mm

I'm currently using a vivo X Fold3 Pro and never notice it during daily usage. It's only noticeable when you tilt the phone beyond 20-30 degrees, which I rarely do.
