Samsung sort of confirms the Galaxy Z Flip FE

I have the flip 5 so I know how it feels to own a flip.

The flip SE should be significantly cheaper if they want to attract buyers. It should be a midranger. Lower camera, exynos chip and removing the smaller outer screen can help lower the price.

    flip 7 se should've come with s25 edge thickness

      The Flip is a novelty at this point. It was a neat and cool idea at first, but past its first impression, imo more and more people realized that it's quite pointless and impractical in today's smartphone use. Most women I saw with a Flip pretty much leave the phone open for majority of the time. I mean might as well get a regular slab phone. This is why imo the S26 Edge might make more sense than the Flip.

You may not be following this as closely, but tech enthusiasts are the reason foldable sales are stagnant. They're the reason the Open is on a hiatus. They represent a very small percentage of consumers. The FE is trying to appeal to a wider audience.

        With that being said Samsung is playing a risky game here. Exynos is known for thermal issues. Heat is one of the indirect factors that causes damage to the screens. If this phone is in the hands of more common people and heat leads to damage, it will be a PR nightmare for Samsung. I hope they know what they are doing.

                There is no need for a Flip FE, the standard Flip series is cutback enough.

                      I wouldn't get them anyhow, even Flip 4 is more than 700 dollar here, and Flip 6 starts at 920 euro after price drop.

                      Samsung their own fault, 920 euro for a Flip 6 or 950 euro for 256gb S24 Ultra...
