It's also the first to launch with an IPX9 water resistance rating.

The original Find N was already in the Phablet region though.

Can not be fully one hand operated by the vast majority of people, hence: Phablet...

Still keeps the ridiculous size of the Find N3, so I don't care.
They ruined the Find N line when they ditched the size of the original Find N which actually made an argument for a foldable: a normally sized phone when closed that can open up to give you a bigger screen.

Now it's just your generic oversized slab that opens up for an even bigger screen. Thus making it just a useless gimmick like all other foldables.

...And if the rendering is correct it is actually 13mm thick
(NOT ignoring the huge protrusion, that adds 100% to the body...)

(For the nerds: 64 vs 44 pixel in the rendering -> 12.989mm)

Do not get me wrong, 13mm is still nice.
But I personally would have preferred a simpler camera and that it WAS the advertised 9mm....

I really want one, but i can only afford it in my dreams 😭

Ouifuf, 20 Feb 2025Shame it won't come under the oneplus name. Hope it at... moreIt doesn't get europe release, instead just reno 13 series.

I don't think the camera downgrade is going to be a huge issue.

Shame it won't come under the oneplus name. Hope it atleast gets a UK release

They almost had it... They almost freaking had it but had to mess it up with the cameras for the sake of being the thinnest. The X Fold 3 pro and Honor magic v3 are still the best foldables currently

It's impressive, but way too expensive for such camera setup and the lesser version of the 8 Elite.

                      WITAWY GOATED, 20 Feb 2025Better than the S25 Ultra. S-Pen - No
                      Camera - No
                      Battery life - No
Screen with anti glare - No
                      More expensive

I take the s25 ultra and its s pen with removed bluetooth capabilities

At least they kept the autofocusing-capabilities of the ultrawide camera sensor lens of the Find N series, despite they had to nerfed the heck of the ultrawide camera to such a small sensor for a foldable.

Let's see, extremely impressive thinness and nice lightness but wait... the cameras are all a downgrade!?!?! Compared to a 1.5 year old phone!?!?

The phone being lighter and thinner despite being 0.3 inches larger is a huge pro that i must admit, but that doesn't even mean anything when an 1800 euro phone comes with an 8 MP UW cam. Perhaps we're pushing the thinness thing a bit too far guys.

Samsung: Why are we getting embarrassed when we were the first to produce foldables?

Meanwhile Samsung's innovation: We made the camera rings look slightly different this year!

I'd have preferred this camera setup:

Main: Sony LYT-700C, f/1.7, 23mm, PDAF, Laser AF, OIS
Telephoto: Samsung ISOCELL JN5, f/2.45, 73mm, PDAF, Laser AF, OIS
Ultrawide: Samsung ISOCELL 3LU, f/2.0, 15mm, PDAF, Laser AF, OIS

                              Selfies: SmartSens SC820CS, f/2.0, 21mm, PDAF.

It's cheap, but powerful! Plus, you'd be able to offer Dolby Vision video across all lenses (except the selfie, I think)!

David 040882, 20 Feb 2025Dude, do you really have to comment that on every comment s... moreYes. Yes I do.

I'm disappointed that other companies are making big differences to their smartphones, while Samsung is just being a d!ck.

WITAWY GOATED, 20 Feb 2025Better than the S25 Ultra. Dude, do you really have to comment that on every comment section regarding a new phone?

I pity on them who will still buy the 4 years old similar Samsung Z Fold over this. But the camera downgrade is not expected

Huge camera downgrade for the sake of thinness, not sure if that's the right move

                                        Better than the S25 Ultra.
