    every once in awhile, GSMArena users have to remember, that the comments and polls in this site does not reflect the real world. We are tech enthusiasts, and we are very different thinking creatures that average phone consumer(customer? Idk)

      I'm asking. I need answers. Please. At the end of the day, you can't say apple makes bad products overall. But why this? Who would buy this?! Over something like 15 or 14 pro?

The budget iPhone line isn't a first gen product (and that alone is enough to hate this awful new addition)

                  Magnetic interference could very well be the case for its newly developed Modem doesn’t want to get involved in some unsavoury issues. Cost cutting is already there but MagSafe compatibility only will lead to more accessories selling! So this reason of cost cutting hard to believe!

Plus, it looks like the battery can be replaced the same way as the iPhone 16’s, so it’s not too hard to fix it yourself.

What if someone wants a phone that supports Magsafe as their minimum requirement? They would just get this 16e. Apple doesn't want it happened. They want you to spend an additional $100 to get an iPhone that supports it. Why? Because it's Apple.

                                      It's cost cut for sure and people buy it then the next 17 and plus could be without....apple will solve it was a magsafe case for 30 dollars and then it will beca win -win for Apple.
