So I didn't even comment on the S25 Ultra coz I would write a long comment. We should not expect massive upgrades from the major competitors in the market since they have much to work on, Samsung makes almost all screens on high end smartphones, laptops, tvs, and more. Apple works on designing it's chips, phones, PCs (mac's) and so on. So what we get as upgrades from these people we should appreciate, but when you take a look at these devices you will see decent upgrade, from S10 to 20 to 21 to 22 to 23 to 24 then 25,if you see no upgrade then you can skip a phone and buy the next ie(23 to 25).if you sit down and look at the S23 ultra and S24 ultra you'll see many upgrades the I write here. Chinese phones makes good phones but will you buy a phone because it has 120W fast charging when the software is like shit. No Chinese phone has software like Samsung's which can be usable, look at Xiaomi's skin, it even showed ads on the home screen (wtf).so guys Samsung, google and Apple phones are made for professionals while Chinese phones are made for those who look at maxed out specs, that's why you buy a Samsung with 5000 battery and leave the red magic with 7000 battery

So what is the point of having a thinner foldable if its not going to last you a full day for power users. Even if its the best foldable in the world it is of no use to anyone if you are going to run out of juice. I would rather have 0.5MM thicker if Sammy stuffed in at least a 5000Mah battery. Come-on same battery for 6years for Fold 7, when Oppo N5 slimmer using 5500 Mah faster charging and yet supports stylus use as well, same with Magic V3.
As usual Sammy is a copycat that refuses to move ahead with time and copying Apple policy of iterative updates and will only move if threaten with powerful hardwares from likes of Honor and Oppo only.....Shame N5/Oneplus Open2 is not release globally or would have killed the Z fold 7 even before its release.
Looks like Im going to Skip Fold 7 yet again because the tiny battery, it is just Pathetic effort yet again as Sammy just loves recycling old hardware such as camera and Battery bin from 6 years ago as with old ultra wide zoom camera, what a joke when you are asking an arm or leg for it.
With a bigger screen and more space there is no excuse not to fit a bigger battery especially if it is Silicon Battery which is thinner and can house larger capacity.
Sammy is just cheapskate when it comes to hardware upgrades unlike its Chinese Competitors where each year the hardware is significantly better.
Fold 7, is dead as far as I am concern another year of missed opportunity for Sammy.

And I'm assuming it will have better battery but idk how much better. Big question is just how much better is it and how dies it compare with the V3 and N5. Not that Samsung need to compete that much anyway

Just give me better battery life and faster charging speed. Samsung still leak behind of this . I don't care about spen neither thin phone and bigger cover screen atleast 6.7 or 6.8 inner display 8plus will do

Having a thinner foldable is great but if it doesn't gave a smaller crease and better battery life then it's pointless.

Basically it's a refined and improved Fold SE. Good enough for me. But one question remains - what about the crease?

These are my must haves for a foldable from Samsung to pay that price :
Battery capacity of at least 5500 mAh
10 bit M14 OLED Panel ( on both displays ).
S-Pen support for outer display
Quad speakers ( or at least loud and rich sounding proper dual stereo speakers )
much lesser bezels on outer display.
no hinge protruding
No visible crease at all ( with very minor crest at the centre for seamless touch experience )

Still plastic (good luck wit... moreNot really, the oppo n5, the honor magic v3 and the vivo x fold 3 all rock, they have bigger batteries than samsung, way better camera systems, better displays. Only samsung's foldables suck lol. Otherwise you know if you take care of your phone, which this is a general statement that isn't exclusive to foldables only, they should last like a normal device, cause I'm guessing you don't go into the desert every sunday or use your nails to navigate your phone lol.

1. Still plastic (good luck wit... moreIm using my z fold 3 for almost 3 years at this point. No issues with the plastic screen. If nothing else, because the screen is plastic i think it is much more drop resistant.
Only issues I had with my Z fold 3 was the screen protector peeling. Since i switch to a third party one a year ago I have no issues.
