Rather will have no office than office version which will restrict me, shackle me and imprison user to a very limited area such as Azkaban. Sole isle full of evil. No thanks.

I use it on Linux and it does not break with updates. If you are on the development release then most applications will break.

Failing to see the point of this when the cloud version is already free. I mean since you have to save to OneDrive, that means you have to be online anyway, so why not just use the cloud version?
This might only become bloatware pre-installed on new PCs, to trick consumers that they are getting "free" MS Office.

For the record for Linuxites here... OnlyOffice and Libre Office work on Windows as well. And you dont have to use a buggy OS which breaks after nearly every update (and I mean Linux here). And where HDR is mostly a distant dream (what is present there on KDE still sucks).
The sad truth is, that there are alternatives for a lot of big software. Yet the OS itself... Perhaps next year will be the year of Linux. But that will require a lot of work. So you nerds get to it!
