Anonymous, 5 hours ago5 to 10 years?! yeah, right....I used a SD636 phone with 3GB ram that i bought in 2018 and i used it 5 years. It was slow even at year 2018 already but still i had no problems for it to last 5 years when i finally got a new phone and not cause there was anything wrong with my previous phone but cause i had free money at the moment to get new phone. And i am sure it will last me longer then 5 years as with this Poco F5 i dont need to worry that it is slow or anything

      I am editing every single contact in the google contacts, adding pictures to each. Exporting them to every file type possible. Then when I restore them, all pictures either disappears or changes... First fix this and then invent something new and then talk about pricing...

        It's still a middle class phone with enough performance to last 5 to 10 years and RAM also is enough to last that long.

        If the phone have weak performance then more RAM dont change anything

          Camera is surely different because different manufacturer and price = different quality. But RAM? Apart from the clockspeed, pretty much RAM on every device works the same way.

            Still too weak to actually give a reason what you need more RAM and everything.
            For long lasting. For social media and just browsing the phone dont need a lot of RAM to last long. More RAM maybe is good in gaming but then again the games change their phone like every after 1-3 years cause they want to have the best hardware to have advantage in the games.

            More RAM makes sense only on the top end flagship with the best and fasted chip on the market and when you will use the phone at least 5 years and you are heavy gamer too.

            On budget to middle class that most is all under Antutu v10 score of 800.000 the more RAM is just like 108MP or 200MP camera that dont make good pictures cause the more MP dont make better picture quality as there are all sorts of other things that actually make the quality for the picture. But the large numbers is used for marketing dumb as heck people like you who get placebo effect with large numbers

I'm just tired with the "x amount of RAM/storage/battery is more than enough" argument. No, just no. There's no "enough" in hardware industry. As much as optimization is important, bigger number is also better for longetivity.

I'm literally melting it playing Asphalt 9 and I see no sign of stress. The biggest difference, coming from a Samsung S series, is the camera. I had forgotten what it is to shoot properly exposed pictures with true to life colors. Thankfully I am not a marketing victim and I care more about proepr user experience than benchmarks.
