Pixel 9a 128GB storage version to be 550 euro vs iPhone 16e 128GB storage version 730 euro. iPhone have only it's CPU/GPU better then 9a have but lose on everything other to 9a

Like the most dumbest thing to ever say is year number like we should already have anti gravity cars cause the year number is 2025 and we had flying cars in 1980s movies so in 2025 we should already have them long ago.
We actually dont need more RAM but what we need is better software optimization. Compensating with more hardware is not the right way. Ahh just add more RAM and problem is solved kind of way of thinking
Never mind that the 8GB RAM is not even on a large part of the phone market phones.
It's mostly only budget to middle class Chinese phones that have like 8 to 12GB RAM and on the low end phone the ram is on low clock speed so it's not even better then 4GB RAM on a flagship phone.

The current custom exynos chips are not it for sure. I am not even that sure it needs a gazillion of performance but efficiency is more important, if this chip would effectively bring 50% more battery endurance and like a 15% performance gain across the board, it would be a really good chip. First actual Google phone if you may.

I would have got a pixel if not for the slowpoke soc that's 4 generations behind. It's not only too weak, it's also unstable, tends to throttle heavily and overheat.

With this price it will get slaughtered by the likes of the A56, Poco F7, Moto Edge 50 Neo and the likes, hell even it's bigger sibling the Pixel 9 can be had for about 600 Euros
Literally the only thing going for it is the 6.1 screen and stock Android, but the rest is a no go

Just read an article on anther site saying Pixel 9 models that are display units in retail stores and very laggy and stuttery. I experienced this myself in a UK department store. I was surprised how laggy the Pixel 9 seemed ( in retail mode) The claim is it makes the 9 pro look better and pushes people to buy that. Is it click bait or have others noticed this?
