84 comments and counting on a skin? What's the big deal?

As I've mentioned before, One UI 6.1.1 toasted my Z4 so I'm likely not going to update until I decide on the Z7. Whether I have a few apps open or 30 apps open, my Z6 runs perfect.

I'm just kidding with their fans who used to write non-stop under articles about other brands of phones how "Samsung had the best software support, updates came out almost immediately, how could other companies be so slow with updates".             Are they finally adding the option to customize quick action toggles on the cover screen of the Flip Series?

              Samsung users waiting for Android 15 be like: spamming update page refresh, ranting on forums, threatening to switch brands, can't wait couple of month to have nicer experience..

              Also, people who don’t even use Samsung phones: furiously complaining online, somehow angrier than actual Samsung users..

              Meanwhile, Fairphone 4 users still waiting for Android 14 (and F5 users waiting A15): peacefully sipping tea, knowing it'll come… eventually..

              Just learn how to be patient guys.

                It's clear that Samsung wants to sell the "new" S25 series before realese the android 15 update for the other phones. They are thinking straightly in money and not in their loyal customers. We as the customers have the power to stop companies like Samsung doing these practices. We should show them and stop buying their phones. They didn't make any substantial changes to the S25 to catch customers attention, that's the reason they are playing this game of not realease the new android version. Stop buying their phones, don't upgrade your phone for one or two years. When they realize that we have the power, they will threat us different.

                      Personally I don't really care when they come out as long as they don't don't screw up my phone

                          red, 14 hours agowhat they promised? new OS version on all previous models... moreWhat's the point of their promised 7 years of OS updates if all of them are likely going to be at least half a year late? That either means that these devices won't actually get 7 OS updates, or they will but instead of 7 years it will take them 10-12 years which makes absolutely no sense.

                          Is it really a good thing having to wait for an already outdated Android version?

When... moreCorrect, they never mentioned that their updates will be timely, but that doesn't mean that being "on time" just means whenever Samsung wants to release their updates that's when it's on time and just be happy with it.

                                They are slower than everyone else, and they are late, that's simply a fact.

                                  and i thought that xiaomi is lazy with rolling out updates... so basically android 15 will be rolled out a month before android 16 (if everything goes right)

                                        Finally got an update to my S25U a few days ago, its up to February security now. The really puzzling thing though is that Google Play service is still stuck on 1st October. Not sure who the fault lies with here, everything I have read suggests Google handle Play service updates themselves, completely independent of any OEM.

                                        However, one of the few Youtube channels I have seen address this is Jeff Springer, in that video he mentions that he a written to Samsung on the Play services issue. Surely Samsung can just reply with 'it's not our problem, blame Google'.... right??

                                        Come guys, people on this site are always acting like absolute know-it-alls when it comes to tech, surely one of you can explain what the hold up is here?????
