Can't say I'm surprised that Xiaomi ditched the variable aperture on the main one-inch camera.
It was a gimmick!
If we do the math, an f/1.6 aperture on a one-inch sensor (with a crop factor of ~2.7x) would have a depth of field comparable to f/2.8 on an APS-C format camera (f/4.3 equiv.).
While not nearly as gimmicky as the variable aperture on the Galaxy S9 (with its tiny 1/2.5" sensor with a crop factor of ~6.0), it was still 'fairly' gimmicky on the 14 Ultra.
So unless they stick an MFT format sensor at the back of a smartphone (2x larger than one-inch format), there's no need to introduce variable apertures.

Also sensor manufacturer in question speaks about well capacity and noise level, but not other things. And finally lens itself can't be neglected.

The 92mm value is calculated from various confirmed and leaked values. I haven't seen any official confirmation for the '9.4 mm lens diameter' yet. But if that's true, with f-value of 2.6 and lens size of 1/1.4", 92-93mm focal length equivalent would indeed be the case.
I'd try to present the mathematics of mobile camera optics using this case as an illustration:
Resolution - 16320 x 12288
Pixel pitch - 0.56
Sensor size - 9.1392mm x 6.88128mm
Sensor diagonal - 11.44 mm (can also be represented as [1/ (16*/11.44) or 1/1.4"]
(* for smaller sensors less than 8mm in size, a value of 18 in place of 16 is used)
Crop factor - sqrt(36^2+24^2)/11.44 = 3.782
Lens diameter - 9.4mm (leaked, not yet confirmed)
f-value - f/2.6 (sort of confirmed, but precise value not yet known)
Physical focal length - 9.4 x 2.6 = 24.44 mm
Focal length equivalent - 24.44x 3.782 = 92.43 mm
