Same xiaomi has before used digital crop on auto mode for 7X mm cameras.

Very competitive price. It will be nice to see how it does against other top end phones iPhone 16 Pros, Samsung S Ultras, Vivo 200x Pro and Oppo Find X8 Pro.

Aierlan, 13 hours agoDo you know if this is a real 100mm lens or a cropped one?... moresorry bro i don't really know but if it's a cropped one it's gonna be an extremely shady move!!!!

The periscope housing is massive enough for me to believe it is indeed 90+ mm but dang, 92-100 mm crop.... JUST WHY. Just name it 4x and put a 92mm option.

I've see one post saying that it is really 92mm. Will check it out myself next time I'm in a Xiaomi store but curious if you or anyone else here knows?

Also, I can totally sacrifice the ultrawide camera altogether if I can use a phone case with 17mm lens thread on it.

Why are global models always getting smaller batteries??

YUKI93, 14 hours agoLarger telephoto camera at the expense of variable aperture... moreMe neither, but the truth is that most people probably didn't even use the variable aperture. So maybe that's why they decided to ditch it + to make room for the new telephoto

Ultrawides are like the middle child, always ignored in favor of the favorite, youngest child, meaning the telephotos. Excited to see how the 100mm will perform but wish it didn't have to be at the expense of ultrawide hardware.

Larger telephoto camera at the expense of variable aperture? I'm not so sure about that.
