Apple's replacement for the SE is priced closer to the main series than it is to the outgoing SE models and that is a problem for a large portion of would-be buyers.

    I would enjoy using a 20 years old Nokia 3230 with symbian Os more than iphone 16 pro max.

    Better looking phone, feels classy, elegant, cute, pleasing to the eyes. Windows like operating system, true multitasking, ability to sideload apps and games, could also download wallpapers, videos, games, apps and music from wap sites. It has s fully customisable Os, could change the whole ui, Fonts, icons, ui sounds, rename apps, change individual app icons. Premium symbian games that are ps1 quality. Could uninstall any system app, supports extended storage via memory card where you could also install any app to external... Vibrations so strong you would have thought there's an earthquake. Truly compact design, user replaceable battery, fully customisable case, it doesn't need a screen protector, instead you need to protect the floor. And finally a reason that most people buy iPhones, you will look cool holding such a device. Camera performance is really good for its time. No selfie camera, no fancy gimmicks that only cause addiction. And especially no Facebook. Your brain will thank you.

        It will be a decent deal if it's $499, but not $599. Plenty of other great options at $599, heck even iphone 15 is better compared to 16e

            Their next vanilla flagship should have a size that's right between the mini and their previous vanilla. I bet that would get the sales of like iPhone 13 mini and vanilla iPhone 13 combined.

                Not even for free unless remove those cameras and notches then replace them with headphone jacks, 90hz, infrared blaster and expandable storage in order to break the purpose of Apple's "courage".

                          It's way overpriced internationally, where Apple is pricing it closer to $800, which is ridiculous and pretty much competing with the Galaxy S series, which is an actual flagship. But this is typical of Apple's wacky international pricing.

                          As for US market, what's missing is just the marketing. The current Apple is piss poor at marketing and PR, and pretty much has lost its soul. Remember, Jobs could sell an iPod without a display, and an expensive laptop with only one USB port. Current Apple has lost its reality distortion field. Fancy video transitions won't cut it anymore.

                                For those that want to buy one, i would say better not yet. The new C1 does not worth your $$. Save up, make them realise their mistake, else in the future Apple will cut more.

                                If you buy, you will need to come up with endless excuses for the compromises. And a laughing stock by everyone who see u made a bad financial choice of phone.
