I don't know how bad it is to not have MagSafe, but Google News seems to have article on it everyday for the last couple of weeks. Is there a conflict of interest here?

Unnamed Apple representative… yeah, sure.
Still, this highlights the piss poor Apple marketing/PR in the last few years. Steve Jobs would’ve been able to sell this phone easily as the best thing ever. There are so many threads Apple could’ve pulled off to make the 16e more desirable, but nope, they just opted for a generic presentation with no personality nor story.
Remember the iPod shuffle, an iPod without a screen? It was a ridiculous idea, but watch how Jobs presented it. Apple need to learn back a thing of two about presentation. Fancy video transitions are not cutting it anymore without actual heart.

They shouldn't release this device at all, comparing a £100 difference between 16 and 16e.

KevinPhoenix, 15 hours agoWho does Hans Gruber think he is? You'd think he'... moreThe sole reason for this phone's existence is to convince you of how crappy it really is especially at this pricepoint and that the 16 and 16 Pro make a lot more sense for you to get instead.

This is lame. The fact that I am not buying the 16e is because there is NO MagSafe. I have so many MagSafe accessories from my previous iPhones and this instantly rendered them useless.

Now Apple is copying Samsung in which excuse they make for removing features.
Samsung said they removed Bluetooth from S-Pen because people were not using it 🤣

Who does Hans Gruber think he is? You'd think he'd learn after falling from Nakatomi Plaza. Oh wait, we're talking about someone else, aren't we, My mistake.
But seriously, the iPhone 16e feels like a slap in the face. Only a fool would part with his money for a ripoff like this.

Sounds like they implied that wires are for poor people lol.
Nvm that majority (aka NOT all of them) of their younger audience only had iphones because they guilt-tripped mama and papa into buying one.

Why did they even bother replying? We all know the real reason, if MagSafe and UWB was part of this phone, a lot of iPhone users would pick this over the 16 because of the great battery life.
I was really looking forward to this since I just need an iPhone to connect the ecosystem. Great battery in a compact size is what I love. Unfortunately, Apple had to be Apple with the pricing tier

Anonymous, 16 hours agoIf they put magsafe or more features it'll cost +$100 ... moreBased on the Applel math, if they add features to complete this phone to 16, it will cost more than 16 pro.
