Kirisame, 02 Mar 2025Maybe Exynos 1480 is too expensive to be equipped on A3* seriesOr maybe E1480 doesn't support 45w charging thats why 36 use SD6 grn 3 instead

Then revive the E1580 on a37. The M/F36 will still use SD 6gen 3 or 7s Gen2 instead of E1480. E1480 only support 25W charging thats why A36 wont equip it

          Overpriced waste.

For what these phones are even exist?? There are more capable and better options in other brands than this garbage devices.... For this money which is 30k -40k in india... Plenty of performance and better camera devices from others brands... Atleast they should have gone for sd 7 gen 3 or dimensity 7300 for A36 instead of this bullshit...

All these are complete waste everyone's money. So everyone don't waste your hard earned money on these garbage.

mat, 02 Mar 2025a36 doesn't has a 3.5mm jack and still comes with virt... moreWhich nearly all brands use virtual proximity senslr on non high end phones.

                    It sucks, that is true.

As for lack of 3.5mm, said that the last time too ks that Samsung is not bringing it back, and that the source for that article was wrong.

potato4k, 02 Mar 2025Why would Samsung do that when using Exynos means less cost... moreRather than that, I have a theory that the AMD GPU production is probably that expensive and they are having trouble making it cheaper, and that's why they make it exclusive to the A5x series.
And I have another theory that they used 6 Gen 3 because it didn't sell? There's a reason why Qualcomm announced 6 Gen 4 as the successor of 6 Gen 3 even though 6 Gen 3 is still only 6 months old. And oh yeah, Samsung has done this with the M55/F55/C55, where they use 7 Gen 1 (which is also not used in most phones) rather than the Exynos 1380.
Except for their entry-level chipsets (such as 4 Gen 2), I find it funny that Samsung-produced Snapdragon often doesn't sell well on the market, and I guess we already know the reason. I've seen more phones with 695 rather than more-powerful and 4K-supports 6 Gen 1 in the market.

So now the A26 is extra worth it, and while trying to make the A36 more competitive against the rest of the market by giving it a Snapdragon chipset and faster charging, they removed the SD card slot, and just destroyed the A3x series.

The SoCs used here are faster than those so imo they would be fine 6 years later. Just buy the models with 6 GB RAM or more.

We are at peak smartphone OS wise. The Android OS is mature. The only new things are AI related stuff, and most of those are cloud based.

Imo it's Qualcomm forcing Samsung to buy the rebranded Snapdragon 6gen1 as a package deal to get the Snapdragon 8 elite.
