The Galaxy A36 brings a Snapdragon chip, IP67 rating, the Galaxy A26 sticks with Exynos

All three A-series models have 6.7" displays. The A36 features faster 45W charging and video HDR support. Both A36 and A26 will get 6 OS updates.

And oh yeah, the 12GB RAM variant is not available in my country. Agree with the notch part, though.

The SoCs used here are faster than those so imo they would be fine 6 years later. Just buy the models with 6 GB RAM or more.

    We are at peak smartphone OS wise. The Android OS is mature. The only new things are AI related stuff, and most of those are cloud based.

      Imo it's Qualcomm forcing Samsung to buy the rebranded Snapdragon 6gen1 as a package deal to get the Snapdragon 8 elite.

        i cant even imagine what kind of brick it will be after 6th software update if it survives that long

            Mohammad Nazzal, 02 Mar 20257 gen 3 is not powerful than exynos 1580...But snapdragons have better compatibility with softwares, esp emulators.

              those are the same ugly garbage as previous years,huge bezels mean hard oled screen but chinese brands moved to p-oled two years ago for their middle range phones,thise 5,6 years of updates is wortless because those phones will barely survive their 2 year warranty

The Exynos is just better. Plus it has AMD graphic. Samsung wants A56 to look much better. Same psychology as Apple is doing with iPads.

It begs the question of why even spend more if the differences are so minor. I hope this continues to next year because then, the A17 would be the best value and the A1 series is always the best selling so it would benefit a lot of people.

                                        It would be funny if the A36 has 45 watts of charging while the S25 is stuck with 25 watts.
