This GPU is more than enough for any gamer and the price is reasonable. Even the RTX 3050/3060 will still be capable in 2025..

    Heck, I'll buy it on day one if the MSRP is that. I hope Sapphire doesn't use the incendiary connector.

Just because it has same number of basic CU units doesn't make it the same or comparable to CU units from RDNA3 or RDNA2 architectures. And RDNA4 has a lot of fundamental changes, both to raster as well as ray tracing. FSR4 being accelerated with dedicated units (Ai Accelerators) it should provide higher quality as well as lower latency for processing of frames. All this without any FrameGen accounted.

        In times when NVIDIA is selling RTX 5070Ti for 1000€ and is either unobtainable and actually selling at 1200€ and more, paying this for RX 7090 XT is pretty reasonable. It'll be more in EU due to VAT, but still not 4 digits, making it interesting mid to high end option. We'll see in 1 week time when reviews drop.

            Maybe this helps to tame the nVidia prices, at least a bit. I'd love to get a 60-series card in the future, a 6080 or 6090 without it costing like 5090 does. Skipping the 50-series, though. 4080 Super will have to do.

              ROCm is still in bad shape AMD needs to think more about software

                Amd propagandas is everywhere on the web especially ytubers..they mocking Nvidia and intel for overpriced yet I don't see any much difference in price/performance ratio..

The problem is the regular 9070, AMD loves to behave like Nvidia does and upsell people into buying the most expensive product. The problem is AMD isn't Nvidia.

                        They should have add more VRAM.

                          So the monopoly continues. It wasn't enough to rival even the 5070 Ti.
                          Nvidia will still be eating their cake and having it at the same time 😑
