raj, 31 Aug 2013today i visited a shop and compared xperia zl with xperia z... moreMy wife had the ZL for free from Rogers while I was fixing the water damage to her iPhone 4S. We liked the ZL very much in every way it performs, appears, and feels, except a fatal dissatisfaction, the display panel. A slight change in view angle would quite noticeably change the image contrast and color balance degrading the display quality by a surprising degree. My wife and I are image quality sensitive perhaps, but I believe any apple users who have been used to the retina display would complain about the ZL's stone age TFT LCD screen. She return the ZL to Rogers after a week and back on the iPhone 4S I fixed. Now she is anticipating the Z1 honami, hoping Sony does it right about the screen this time round.

today i visited a shop and compared xperia zl with xperia z. YES sony is back. great display. crisp and sharp. Better viewing angles. My xperia SL was no match to ZL.. I hope honami will be better. good luck sony..

thanks it has a big bezel good for landscape viewing and you can easily hold it one handed, that's an advantage and thanks it's not P-L-A-S-T-I-C. CRAPPHONE. GEEZ

Because of those port covers, they better include that magnetic charging dock in the box, like Xperia Z Ultra has.

sony xperia z1,even Porpular than the company,sony should be faithful on this phone,i respect SONY because of quality product not mobile phone alone but overall.one thing left is (prize)i'm expecting $300-$400
