I would love to see a return of the SD card and headphone jack unfortunately smartphone manufacturers are not making a return anytime soon and I've had to make that compromise by buying a Nothing 2a.

It's crazy how they're making 1.5tb SD cards on the market which are rendered useless as smartphones don't have a slot for them!! 🤦‍♂️

Considering the state of the economy and how prices keep rising every year for devices the prices could be much worse especially considering our rant on the new Moto G Power which is overpriced garbage compared to this! It would have been great to see the Nothing 3a base model priced at £300.

Then again if you're a basic user and don't need the latest and greatest you could probably get a Nothing 2a for a good price below £300 which is still a solid phone after a year.

I think 10 years ago having a flagship processer really would give you solid performance but now that phones under £300 can give you solid performance no one needs the latest and greatest anymore. It's like all the new drama surrounding the iPhone 16e. It's just better to get last years model 2nd hand if you can get one for a solid price and you'll get way more features.

        Anonymous, 04 Mar 2025Obviously. 4k 16:9 is 8.3MP, sensor is 8.1 at most. It's gonna be at least 11,05 mp for 4:3 sensor to have non-upscaled 4k video.

                            I said it would be another 1/1.56" .
                            Some here were sure it was 1/1.28" on sub $400 phone.

                                      There's no upgrade from previous generation. Good phones, but soc desperately needed upgrade, at least to dimensity 8200.

                                        Funny that some people call it flagship killer, a phone with SD 7s Gen 3. The slow memory is another great disadvantage. The cameras can't take full advantage because of the bad SoC and ISP. So better save your money and buy another phone.
