If you want Optical zoom and xenon flash you should buy Canon or Nikon cameras not a smartphone.

It gives more light as a flash as compared to LED flash so taking photos in dark with xenon is more effective as compared to the LED ones. That is the difference but Xenon flash consumes more battery as compared to LED.

The thing with the bezels will start again but all slow mind peoples don't know that all waterproof phones have larger bezels and wait i've dropped my xperia p and u and the screen is intact but i've droped my s3 3 times and i've a big crack insted of a screen so grow up and be more smart than your phone sory for bad english but you get it
