Samsung may ditch plastic panels next year in favor of metal ones

Latest reports suggest Samsung will finally break pattern and use new design for the 2014 Galaxies.

It is hoped that Samsung does indeed switch to a more rigid material for its panels not only for its smartphones but also for its tablets. The HTC One, Motorola's Razr Maxx, Sony's XPeria Z and Huawei's P6 have all won a great deal of praise for their build quality and Samsung is doing itself a disservice by not following suit. As this article points out their hardware and software is already class leading. I was surprised by Samsung's reluctance to incorporate metal into their Galaxy range like they did for their Wave Bada based range where the build quality was impressive.
