My Spigen Slim Armor case for the Note 3 broke in four months. Since I bought it from an authorized reseller and not from the official Spigen store, Spigen is not honouring the warranty even though the factory defect is obvious. That's right: no warranty even if bought from an official Spigen reseller. I wrote about the ordeal, with the emails to Spigen, here:

Was iPhone fan turned Samsung fan
had the first iPhone, then the IPhone4, iPhone5, then got the first Samsung GalaxyS1, followed by Tab, S3, S4, Note2 and Note8.
still have my iphone5, as a second phone, but keep pressing the non-existent left and right buttons at the bottom. So psychologically, always feels there is something missing in my iPhone5...... read about the back buttons on the LG, so wonders how that would feel.....
To you guys quarrelling who is best, the phones are all good, depends what you want out of it, afterall, the phone is only as smart as the user..... I will buy Note3, the minute it gets available in singapore.

Why do they insist on using AMOLED? This is crap tech. IPS LCD is the king of color accuracy and sharpness. I pass on the Note 2 because of the display, and now will pass on this again. They really should come out with 2 versions so I can at lease have a choice.

i wouldn't say samsung are lazy it takes a lot of money and time to generate a known brand. in a sense they are being smart by keeping a similar well known design.

samsung may be a bit lazy to have similar look over the years but another company is even worst, not only exterior, even the more important interior remain quite about the same given how much the industry has advanced.

Your writing doesn't sound coming from electronic knowledge.all android now have lagg issue and depend how we manage the phone functionalities especially gaming render workload.
1 thing more important is software optimization and proper code writing from developers play important role.monster spec hardware are useless if the software are execution will not take full advantage of hardware speed like gaming.please stop fanboyism attitudes. Comment that criticised samsung are good for them to improve from time to time.no company are perfect at this moment and mobile technology are still long long way to go.

I myself have that phablet and on Internet access for an hour with several applications running in the background(can close them but they get restarted), it consumes a battery of 20%, on video playback for an hour, it consumes 30%, and on standby it last barely two days and it's such a cheap feeling phablet. You're just a paid troll by Samsung. Shame on this company.

It's different but still all the same... Samsung and its design… monster performing internals spellbound in “STILL IN 2012” designs… I waited for S4 after I got jaded with my SIII so dreadfully but I dropped my plan to purchase S4 because of its design… I’m still steadfast to Samsung and I won’t buy anything else but I guess I’ll have to wait until S5 appears before upgrading my device… These devices look all the same… Plastic is not a problem for me, but the design…
