Anonymous, 07 Mar 20256.3 is mini? F offBut then again, in the current age where 6.7" and above is considered "normal" size, it's a given for sub-6.4" to be called a "mini".

Bosic012, 07 Mar 2025There are still Xperia buyers? I mean, I would like an Xper... moreOf course there are. In my country, there are huge following to the Xperia family. Even my friend, who used to be a long-time Samsung user, switched to Sony and really happy with it.

Cpt.Power, 07 Mar 2025Why this thing exist??? Mini phones are so useless. This is subjective not everyone is the same. People prefer smaller devices for a good many reasons.

                    6.3 is mini? F off

This should be a prove to Sony that there are still Xperia 5 buyers out there.

403 Forbidden, 06 Mar 2025> You know you're gonna use it 2 handed anyway Tbh... moreWhat the who calls it a "handphone"?

Bruh, yeah it's nice if it's ergonomic and all but why you gotta pull words out of thin air. I get you you, don't negate yourself with that.

And opposed to what exactly? A footphone?

And one handed use is equally a software problem as it is physical size. Apple being the most notorious and egregious example with there no back button iOS where you can sometimes swipe back sometimes you have to reach all the qay to the top left or right corner to do it. Watch em add a back function in 13 years and call it revolutionary.

Android isn't perfect either. Some phones use bottom left and right edges for back, some use it for recent apps, some have swipe from bottom to go back, some go straight to home some have all three at the bottom whoch I like how my OP 7 Pro with real oxygen OS had the very center at the bottom for home and long swipe for recent apps and then left and right at the bottom was back. Perfectly ambidextrous and complely ruined with Android 12 adapting how googe does it. Hamburgers menus are a pain with side swipe being back button.

That turned into a rant but you know what I mean.

notafanboy, 06 Mar 2025It's "Mini" compared to the Pro. Get it, Mr.... moreBy your logic, all phones should be named "mini" because they are mini relative to tablets. Just like all tablets are mini relative to laptops. Soon we'll find that everything on Earth is being called "mini". But wait, in the reversed order, everything would be "plus" or "max" compared to everything smaller than it. So what now? You call everything "plus" then? That would be so chaotic and funny 🤣

There's a reason why the word "mini" has a definition in the dictionary.

This makes me think of that scene from Rush Hour 2 where there was so much confusion regarding "You" and "Yu" 🤣🤣

notafanboy, 06 Mar 2025It's "Mini" compared to the Pro. Get it, Mr.... moreApparently, the concept of "mini" is relative now? The base iPhone 16 isn't called "mini" compared to the Pro, neither is the base S25 compared to the Ultra and same for Pixels. Both are still smaller at 6.1" and 6.2", respectively, compared to this 6.3 inch not even "mini" phone.

And what's with the Magic 7 lineup having both a "Lite" (6.78") and a "Mini" (6.3") ? That's just a confusing naming scheme.

They should reserve "mini" for something that's actually small, around less than 5.5 inches. "Mini" should mean mini, not just "sMaLleR tHaN tHe PrO.

I am sure not every one can be pleased, but I prefer the size of A the Asus Zenfone 9 but 6.3'' with high screen-to-body ratio will be good.

In a decade, phones with 7.3-inch screens will be considered mini😭

6.3 inches isn't mini but if they can curve the back of it to make it feel smaller and better in the hand then I doubt most people will actually mind
