        No any pixel can stand against samsung flagship. Unless you want to lose every great feature to get a little better camera.

The chip is not on par with the other chips that flagship phones get. It's not even on par with exynos chips. Whoever made the decision to rank it as the best smartphone is clearly biased.

The most important metrics are calibration and brightness and Sony has nailed that, at least the brightness is usable.

                                And I just saw notebookcheck's viewing angle photo, the viewing angles are excellent. Ofc, the Pixel's ones are even better but at this stage there's no point in comparing that, if you're using the phone at such an awful angle you wouldn't really care about accuracy. So i dont really get your point.

                                Finally, yeah, the Xperia 5 V has some chunky bezels but it's a 2 year old phone and the pixel 9 pro has the thickest bezels of all the modern day flagships. It's hideous compared to something like the S25 Ultra.

                                What exactly is your point here? The Pixel 9 pro has better viewing angles and better bezels than a 2 year old phone that has FRONT FACING SPEAKERS, and thus it's better? Yeah right bro. I'm not gonna excuse the fattening of the bezels of the 5 V compared to the 5 IV but you're out of your mind for spouting such nonsense. Go look at notebookcheck's charts yourself, the calibration might not be perfect on the xperia 5 v but it's at a point where no one would really care/notice as everyone just uses vivid mode anyways.

Sensor with a certain adc depth can support higher depth raws through some sort of gain combination.

I do know that the IMX907 is meant to be very high-end, so it's a reasonable assumption to make that it will have it. Maybe it won't though, idk. I know stacked sensors don't necessarily have said function, but because of how expensive they are, I would be surprised if Sony didn't give it everything they've got.
