Adding more entry level devices into an already saturated market... Excellent plan..

I've always hated Acer and this reinforces my hate for them, I've never been a MediaTek fan but the SoCs in these phones are especially terrible, they can barely make a laptop that's able to run Windows 10 properly, guarantee these are going to be awful on whatever Android version they ship with.

I believe they might have followed a different pricing strategy here, given that Nokia is technically the biggest brand for smartphones here, all due to poor sales of smartphones since the mass-overpricing of all products since 2022 in Sri Lanka. The price I've mentioned (LKR27000) is without any discounts and all taxes + levies included. Exeptional value for any 5G phone.

Literally garbage chip af. So what's acer doing?
Selling entry level phone under the same platform (mt6765) is no good especially multitasking, making it slow. And also uses full blown Android 14, making it heavier in resources.
Much better look for somewhere else, if the availability outside India (In SEA), then these models should avoid.

For instance, you can buy 2 HMD Crests here for the price of a Galaxy A06 4/64, a ZTE Nubia V60, a Realme Note 50, a Honor X6b or a Vivo Y03. That's how terrible our market is.
