Bot10Exists, 11 Mar 2025would love an actual argument from youThat chip is a 28 watt TDP and you had to use fsr frame gen. If I have to spell it out then I doubt there is even a point arguing with you. Damn near double the Max possible power consumption of an entire tablet/phone. Best case scenario is that you had it running at 30-35 watts realistically for the CPU and iGPU alone.

Tranquillow, 11 Mar 2025How does the cinematic 21:9 sound at 9" It fits in la... moreToo níche in my opinion. I don't see the purpose beyond modern media consumption (cinematic). In most if not all cases 16:10 is superior without compromises on multitask real estate when you exceed 2 or maybe 3 applications especially when used in landscape mode, then if you think about gaming there's a severe loss of vertical FOV which I think many people do not appreciate enough, not only is it a upper hand in TPP shooter games, FPP also benefits if the game you're playing has urban environments where opponents can be at various heights.

Then comes the issue of poor scaling factors at narrow/ultra wide aspect ratios, since rhe further you go from a perfect square, you will lose over (unit of length)² (cm²/inches²) of display area. For example a 16:10 ratio 10" display is 44.9 square inches in surface area whereas a 21:9 ratio 10" display is 36.2 square inches. That may not seem too much on paper but in use you do feel it if you know what I mean.

For me personally, 7:4, 5:3, 16:10 seem some of the better and more universal aspect ratios but your personal preference may vary.

13 inch tablets are heavy. It's not something you can hold on your hand for too long while laying in bed. You can't hold it steady in front of you for too long without getting tired either. Xiaomi should offer an 8 inch or 9 inch tablet with SIM card slot. That's what we all want.

I approve. I bought a cheap 11inch tablet few months ago, and I use it more than the phone and I want something more powerful, faster Obviously, the phone is the only option outdoors.

If Xiaomi can make a 7:5 screen like OnePlus did with their Pad lineup, that'd be the closest thing to a legit A4-sized paper.
