    There is no hinge test. It's a wide strap and tiny hole, 3/4 of the phone's surface support the weight right next to the strap. This is poor PR for people who doesn't understand basic physics.

      Impressive, but try weights with a narrower point of contact. Having big flat bottoms spreads the weight across the whole back of the phone. So its not really just testing the "hinge" but the whole surface. A little misleading.

                              cyber, 11 Mar 2025display still will crack after 1 or 2 years anyway,it'... moreI can't speak for other foldbables, but the Z's display does not crack because of a weakness that develops from use or time. It cracks for other reasons. The most common problem is heat. It's possible the display will crack with time. That's an expectation, but it has not been the reality.

                                        Now do the same test but with only 1 phone, not 4 different ones. The way they've done this test shows that one phone only holds around 12.5 kilos - give or take.
