What's the point of using 4 devices ? An average person will only use 1 as his phone, so why not conduct the test on one device ?

Also, these are lab environments. Real world cases will vary. Something like Jerry Rig's bend test will be more useful to determine hinge durability

    They should work on making the inner screen stronger.

For example look at how bezelless screens come at the compromise of a selfie cam. Either under display (looks horrendous), or with a pop up cam that usually, if not all the time, results in a lack of water/dust resistance and also reduces longevity.

          What's the point of this? The phone is placed with the top and bottom of the hinge on the swing, when in the world are you even gonna mange to bend the phone that way?

          I expected some JerryRig tipe bend, when the bend is from the hinge, and it's actually a hinge strength test, not just a general phone build durability test.

                  I imagine one youtuber that will dedicate his money to buy 4 of each fold/flip phone and do this on every phone.
                  This will be become a "standard" test like the bend test from now on
