After looking at the specs given and comparing with the Asus models, this seems to be somewhere in between the P552w and the P565. Some on another forum believe the Zest is actually the P565 however I doubt it'd be this cheap if that were the case. I think it's more likely to be a souped up P552w with a 3MP camera in place of the 2MP one.

It's a good Business phone, but in the age of Omnia, HTC Touch, Diamond, etc. this phone may not stand a chance ...

Does it stand a chance still, maybe due to pricing?

This phone, which is manufactured by Asus, was based on Asus 522w (http://www.gsmarena.com/asus_p552w-2519.php).

Although I agree that it won't win any beauty pageant which seems to be the sentiment of most of the average users posting in the comments section, the Xda Zest has an admirable spec sheet boasting with one of the best computing power among PDAs.

Sure, this phone will not land in the hands of the average joe but the industrial design will sure find a place among the business types and executives

so, it means O2 no longer using HTC's products?

I wonder how the display will perform in direct sunlight, LG has had a big problem with this over the years.
