Common smartphone users care little about whatever powers their devices. Taking clear photos, big internal storage, long lasting battery, decent charging and no lag are their main interest. Maybe games for a few others.
Confusing people with different rebrands is just a way to make hype for "something new" and keep that product relevant for a month or so. Some people often buy things on haste because of that marketing strategy.

Samsung should just merge the A, M, and J series at this point. Like what is the benefit of keeping them separate anymore when it just makes things way more confusing for the consumer?

So many variants of a same phone. But if anyone's confused, Samsung's mid to low range is the A series, globally. But for South Asia where the income segment is low, Samsung launches M series, which are just rebranded A series, just with lower quality outer materials, making those cheaper than the A series. As for the F series, it's the same as M series but only exclusive to the Indian online market, and only on Flipkart (F series). It is even slightly cheaper than the M series.

Why, just why? Samsung is overproducing phones yet again. How does this make them more profit?
