Samsung Galaxy F16 5G announced as rebadged Galaxy M16
The Galaxy F16 is Samsung’s latest entry-level device, and while new in name, it’s nothing more than a rebadged Galaxy M16 – a device that was based on the Galaxy A16. The only meaningful change on the M16 are its color options - Vibing Blue, Bling Black, and Glam Green with all three featuring Samsung’s Ripple Glow effect.
Apart from that, the F16 features the exact same specs as the M16, including a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED (FHD+ 90Hz), Dimensity 6300 chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging. The phone is available with 4, 6, or 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable via microSD card.
It boots One UI 7 based on Android 15, with Samsung pledging 6 Android updates and 6 years of security updates.
The baseline 4GB/128GB version will start at INR 11,499 ($131) in India, which is INR 1,000 less than the Galaxy M16 with the same RAM and storage. Deliveries are scheduled to begin tomorrow, March 13, at 12PM via Samsung India and partnering retailers.
