Samsung's Galaxy A-series is no stranger to discounts and it needs some now more than ever as competition in the mid-range heats up.

      A new A35 makes more sense than A26. You get basically the same hardware but stereo speaker on A35 and current discounts push it very close to A26.
      Please correct me if I am missing something.

            They have 385 ppi, you can see the pixels from an arm's length, that is reason enough not to buy them. Get a poco X or F or a oneplus nord instead of this trash.

              Somewhere they are too expensive and somewhere they are cheaper than competition.

                Samsung continues to have two things going for it:

                - Software
                - Update support
                - Superior ultrawide camera (in the case of A56)

                I personally feel that A56 is good enough with the actually-good 1580, 12mp ultrawide camera, nice One UI and the update support for a price similar to that of 3a Pro and Realme 14 Pro+ - therefore equal value for money (your choice on your priorities). I however can't say the same for A36 and A26.

                Nothing Phone 3a would be undoubtedly better than A36 in specs, A36 for the perhaps useless 6 OS updates and 6 year security updates, otherwise nothing to justify.

                A26 has insufficient competition from other brands at the moment (especially as CMF Phone 2 isn't released yet), but i's just awful - they had to downgrade to a mono speaker. Plus, it still has competition from itself (yes, the A35, which Samsung seems to try to justify the loss, with the update support).

                      Samsung's bad old habit of excluding basic sensors is back again.

                        there're two problems with the A36/A56 -

                        1. optical fingerprint scanner (Samsung's implementation of optical fingerprint scanner is horrible)

                        2. virtual proximity sensor (really samsung?)

                        And for A56's asking money, it should have a telephoto camera and Si/C battery.
